Event Overview The Lounge 28 Pairings Party will be hosted by Marshall Faulk. Faulk will be joined by celebrities Julius “Dr. J” Erving, Sterling Sharpe, Kenny Lofton, Joe Torre, Michael Strahan, Deion Sanders, and many more. The Pairings Party will give participants the opportunity to mingle with celebrity teammates and enjoy complimentary food and beverages throughout the evening. Non-participating sponsors can purchase tickets to the “Pairings Party,” which includes access to the “After-party.” Tickets for access to the “After-party” are also available for purchase. Why Sponsor? All net proceeds will benefit the Marshall Faulk Foundation. Those funds will then be distributed to programs and non-profits around San Diego County that are aligned with the Foundation?s mission of building brighter futures for today?s inner-city youth. San Diego State University?s Athletic Foundation will also receive 50% of the proceeds to be used for scholarships for future athletes. The SDSU Aztec Tailgate has incredible potential to become one of the most anticipated events in the San Diego area. We are expecting 500-700 fans for the 1st Annual. Event: Golf Tournament Location: Journey at Pechanga Date: November 10, 2008 Time: 10 am Shotgun Tee Off Event Overview Marshall Faulk and celebrity friends will team up with participants for a foursome tournament at the spectacular “Journey at Pechanga” Golf Course. Proceeds benefit the Marshall Faulk Foundation. Shortly after experiencing success on the professional football field, Marshall sought more challenges and took his athletic ability to the green. In 1996, Marshall took his first swing at the game of golf. During his short career of golf, Marshall has captured three ?hole-in- ones.? On the field or on the green, Marshall is a fierce competitor. This competitiveness has attained him a handicap of eight and a best round of even par. Now that Marshall has announced his retirement, he is enjoying much more time on the links.
